Gday and welcome to the blog of photographer Dale Tidy. I grew up in Canberra in the Australian Capital Territory and have been serious about photography for a couple of years now. It all began back in 2007 when I purchased my first camera and traveled around Europe and Egypt for 5 months. I realized how much joy it gave me to create something out of nothing with which I could express myself. I wanted to build on this and have since completed an Advanced Diploma in Photography at the Canberra Institute of Technology where I greatly improved and focused my skills. I then moved to Vancouver, Canada in search of new adventures, opportunities and a more exciting lifestyle.
These days I am still madly keen about photography taking images throughout the world living my dream. I have future aspirations to get into photojournalism for the print media.
