I met this friendly Colombian Soldier at the border town of Capurganá after travelling through the Panamanian San Blas Islands. We had a brief chat using my broken Spanish and traded friendship bracelets. As this is one of the main cocaine trafficking routes in the world I wasn't expecting to be taking photographs of guards on high alert. Definitely a nice surprise.
